The Radiological Protection Institute has called for British Nuclear Fuels to prove that the walls of its storage tanks could withstand a major terrorist attack.

In its annual report, the body responsible for advising the Government on nuclear safety, said Sellafield is a high-risk target for terrorists and BNFL must prove the plant is secure.
