A pub landlord and ‘‘terrorist of long standing’’ was today facing life in prison after being convicted of conspiring to cause the Omagh bombing which killed 29 people.

Father-of-four Colm Murphy, 49, was convicted at Dublin’s Special Criminal Court yesterday for his part in the worst single act of killing in Northern Ireland since the start of the Troubles.
