Afghanistan to gain from Irish and international aid

The regeneration of Afghanistan is to benefit with aid from the international community to the tune of US$500m from the EU and €12m from Ireland.

The chairman of the Interim Government in Afghanistan has welcomed the contribution from the International community, saying it would help fulfil the hopes and aspirations of his people.
