Temple Bar hit-and-run: Gardaí recover car
Gardaí have said they are following a "definite line of inquiry" in the search for a hit-and-run driver who injured four people in Dublin's Temple Bar yesterday morning.
A garda spokeswoman said there were a number of people named on the insurance of the car. She added they were confident of interviewing the driver soon.
The hit-and-run occurred near a nightclub on Cope St at 3am.
The injured, three men and one women, were taken to St James's Hospital for treatment. The condition of one of the men is described as serious.
He was pulled under the car and dragged along the ground for a short distance. The man suffered a dislocated hip.
The car - a black VW Golf - has been recovered and has been technically examined.
