Doctors reject rip-off allegations

The Irish Medical Organisation has denied that doctors are taking advantage of the euro changeover to jack up the fees they charge to patients.

IMO spokesman Fintan Hourihan said he has seen no evidence to support claims by the Consumers Association that doctors are among those who are ripping off the public in the early days of the new currency.
