Forged note 'could be one of many'

A counterfeit euro bank note discovered in the Irish Republic could be just one of many, gardai warned today.

The forgery was passed at a supermarket in Straffan, Co Kildare, on Wednesday night, as mass euro spending got underway following the changeover.
