Blanchardstown to lose 127 more jobs
127 jobs are to go at a factory in Blanchardstown in Dublin.
Fujitsu Isotech is closing down operations at the end of the month after 30 years of trading.
The company, which makes Dot Matrix printers, said it could no longer compete in the high tech sector.
The news follows the announcement yesterday of redundancies at another factory in Blanchardstown.
The electronics’ manufacturer Sanmina-SCI closed its plant with the loss of around 130 jobs.
The company employs a further 600 people at Fermoy, Co Cork, and said it hoped to reinstate the jobs there when business picked up again.
