130 jobs to go in west Dublin

West Dublin is to lose 130 jobs following the merger of the high tech companies Sanmina and SCI.

Workers in the Blanchardstown plant were told that the facility would close as the company consolidates its business in Fermoy, Co Cork.

Sanmina-SCI has manufacturing facilities in more than 21 countries spanning five continents.
