Labour pledges to end rich-poor divide

Labour leader Ruairi Quinn has promised to unveil proposals aimed at ending the divide between Ireland’s rich and poor.

Over the past five years, the present coalition has consistently widened the gap between the so-called ‘haves’ and the ‘have-nots’.
