Two men are due before Ballymena Magistrates Court this morning charged with the murder of a retired policeman.

William Kennedy, 65, was found beaten to death at his home in Co Antrim last Sunday.

The pair were arrested on Christmas Day and charged with Mr Kennedy's murder last night.
