Fire victim mother named

The 46-year-old mother of nine who lost her life in an overnight fire in Dublin has been named as Esther O'Connor.

The 46-year-old mother of nine who lost her life in an overnight fire in Dublin has been named as Esther O'Connor.

She was with six family and friends when the fire broke out at the house at Harelawn Avenue in the Ronanstown area.

A man is being treated for injuries as a result of the blaze. All of Mrs O’Connor’s children escaped unhurt.

Mrs O' Connor's husband died last year.

Gardai said they were investigating the possibility that the blaze was caused by faulty Christmas tree lights.
