Adair loses appeal for Christmas parole

Former UDA commander Johnny Adair lost his appeal for Christmas parole at Belfast's High Court this afternoon.

The jailed loyalist paramilitary leader, Johnny Adair, has been refused Christmas parole by a Belfast court today.

Mr Adair had launched a High Court appeal against the Northern Ireland Secretary's decision to keep him in confinement in Maghaberry Prison.
