Arrest made in Monaghan nun murder probe

An arrest has been made in connection with the murder of Sister Philomena Lyons.

A man, in his early 20’s, has been arrested at 6am this morning in Co Monaghan.

The man, who is from the local area, is being held under section four of the Criminal Justice Act at Monaghan garda station.
