Finucane murder suspect disappears in Belfast

A man questioned in connection with the murder of Belfast solicitor Pat Finucane has disappeared after being warned that his life was in danger following the assassination of William Stobie last week.

A man questioned in connection with the murder of Belfast solicitor Pat Finucane has disappeared after being warned that his life was in danger following the assassination of William Stobie last week.

Police warned Ken Barrett about his safety after Stobie, who was recently cleared of murdering Mr Finucane, was shot dead by his former colleagues in the UDA.

Mr Barrett was arrested and questioned by the British team investigating the Finucane murder, but he was never charged.
