Man charged with murdering Limerick pensioner

A 25-year-old man has appeared before Limerick District Court charged with murdering a 74-year-old man in the city last week.

Darren Cunneen, from Clare Street in Limerick city, was remanded in custody to reappear before the same court again next Thursday.
