Post mortem results of pensioner due today

Gardai in Limerick are searching for a person seen running from the home of Joseph O’ Doherty shortly before his body was found yesterday.

The 74-year-old pensioner was found murdered in his home in the Good Sheppard elderly complex in Pennywell.

Gardai have launched a full murder investigation.

Post mortem results are expected to be released later today.
