The 19-year-old woman questioned in connection with the disappearance of 20-month-old Savannah McNally has been released without charge.

The baby was found safe and well in Portlaoise more than 24 hours after she went missing with her teenage babysitter from her home in Newbridge, Co Kildare.

A file is being prepared for the DPP.

A second teenage woman also quizzed about the same incident was released last night.
