There are reports that another illegal dump under investigation in Co Wicklow may contain as many as 2,000 barrels of toxic waste.

The drums are thought to contain commercial acids, including sulphuric acid, which is extremely dangerous to the environment. The 10-acre site is located on the banks of the River Slaney, near the entrance to the Glen of Imaal, at a place known locally as Stephenson's Quarry.
