Quinn slams Govt failure to fund health strategy
The Labour Party has criticised the Government’s budget provisions for the health service, saying they will only fund around 2% of the proposals put forward in the much-vaunted national health strategy.
Party leader Ruairi Quinn said: "Out of the entire 10-year health strategy, which is estimated to cost something in the order of €15bn, the commitment in this year amounts to just in an around 2%.
