£1.6m Lotto prize under injunction

A Co Kildare couple has been granted a High Court injunction preventing the National Lottery from paying out half of Saturday night’s Lotto jackpot.

George and Patricia Murray from Naas, claim that their Lotto agent at the Gem shop in the town gave them a Quickpick ticket - and instead their winning ticket was handed to someone else by mistake.
