The Labour party has begun its campaign ahead of next Wednesday s’ budget, calling for the removal of minimum wage earners from the tax net.

The party revealed a list of demands that it wanted included in Minister McCreevy’s upcoming budget that included increases in pension and social welfare payments as well as cutting minimum wage workers out of the tax band.
