A 40-year-old lorry driver from Derry has been charged with three counts of manslaughter following a fatal road accident in Co Antrim on Thursday.

A 40-year-old lorry driver from Derry has been charged with three counts of manslaughter following a fatal road accident in Co Antrim on Thursday.

Three people travelling in a minibus died when it collided with a lorry near Toomebridge in Co Antrim.

Ten others were also injured in the crash.

The lorry driver will appear before Ballymena Magistrates Court later today, where he is also expected to be charged with leaving the scene of the crash.
