Dublin/Monaghan group to mount anti-bombings protest

The organisation representing survivors and victims of the Dublin and Monaghan bombings will stage a protest during British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s visit to Dublin this afternoon.

Justice for the Forgotten plans to picket the meeting of the British-Irish Council because of Britain’s refusal to co-operate with the inquiry into the bombings.

The group has long claimed that the British army colluded with loyalists to carry out the four bomb attacks which claimed 33 Irish lives in 1974.
