Police investigate Belfast blast

Police were today investigating an explosion in north Belfast.

No one was reported hurt after the blast at the rear of North Belfast Business Centre in Duncairn Gardens - scene of violent sectarian clashes in recent months, a spokeswoman for the Police Service of Northern Ireland said.

The blast happened at 8.30am.

Loyalists are the prime suspects for the attack and police believe the target may have been construction workers on contract in the centre.
