Gardai launch murder inquiry after Dublin shooting

Gardai are investigating a fatal shooting in Dublin last night.

The shooting occurred just before 10pm at the junction of Shanlis and Oldtown Road in the Santry Area of the Capital.

The State Pathologist will carry out a post mortem on the body later this morning.

The man’s identity will not be released until all next of kin have been informed.
