The Irish Haemophiliacs Society has requested Judge Alison Lindsay to recommend a second tribunal of inquiry into US blood companies when she delivers her final ruling, expected in the next couple of weeks.

In their closing submissions to the tribunal, IHS lawyers have stressed that, if not investigated, these companies will be able to escape justice for manufacturing and distributing highly dangerous blood products.
