Violence mars night in North Belfast
Crude explosive devices were last night thrown at Catholics' homes in north Belfast.
At least two crude devices of nails wrapped around explosives were thrown at a notorious interface. There were no injuries - although one of the devices landed near a small boy.
One grandmother in her sixties said she had found three-inch nails in her garden.
The violence came as a faction of the loyalist Holy Cross protesters threatened even more hardline action in their dispute.
