The Belfast High Court has allowed the parent of a girl attending Holy Cross school in north Belfast to seek a judicial review of how the British Government and the police have handled the loyalist protest outside the school.

The woman’s solicitors, Madden and Finucane, said the police and the Northern Secretary now have three weeks to file their defence.
