Loyalists blamed for Co Antrim gun attack

Police in the North have accused loyalist paramilitaries of attempting to murder a former republican political prisoner in Ballycastle, Co Antrim, last night.

The man in his 40s escaped injury after a gunman shot at him from a passing car while he was driving home from work.
