Final submissions at Lindsay Tribunal today

The Lindsay Tribunal will draw to a close today, as final submissions are presented by the parties.

Judge Alison Lindsay is expected to rule soon on the circumstances surrounding the infection of more than 250 haemophiliacs with hepatitis and HIV, 78 of whom have died.

The inquiry into the importation of contaminated blood products from the US has lasted for two years and two months.
