Ireland and France threaten to scupper WTO talks

Ireland and France have joined forces in an attempt to stop the World Trade Organisation from eradicating farm export subsidies.

The two countries have threatened to scupper the latest WTO talks in Doha, Qatar, over attempts to agree on a "phasing out" of subsidies over the coming years.
