Dublin firm to shed 450 jobs

Electronics company Celestica has announced plans to lay off 450 workers at its plant in Swords, Co Dublin.

The will have the option to take voluntary redundancy between the middle of December and the end of February next year.

The lay-offs will reduce the company’s workforce to 500.
