Forensic experts examine Birmingham car bomb

British police are carrying out detailed forensic tests today in an attempt to identify those responsible for Saturday night’s failed car bombing in Birmingham city centre.

Anti-terrorist officers are examining the remains of the 30kg device to see if it could be linked to any particular bomb-maker.
