Tributes paid to Denis Gallagher

Tributes have been coming in following the death of the former Fianna Fail Minister for the Gaeltacht, Denis Gallagher, who died last night at the age of 88.

Both the Taoiseach and the current Minister for the Gaeltacht, Sile de Valera, have expressed their sympathy to his family.

Mr Gallagher served as a Mayo West Dail deputy for 16 years, and as a minister from 1977 to 1979.
