Corporation to take legal action over medical waste at bonfire

Dublin Corporation is to issue legal proceedings in relation to last night's dumping of medical waste at a bonfire in the capital.

Proceedings will be instituted under either the Litter Pollution Act, or under the Waste Management Bye-Laws where the maximum fine is £1,000.
