Aer Lingus unions to lobby Taoiseach

Aer Lingus union representatives will lobby the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, today in the hope of getting the Government to breach EU law and provide funding for the national airline.

The unions at Aer Lingus believe that the airline will go out of business without financial aid from the Government.
