Man questioned in relation to Ennis death

Gardai in Co Clare are questioning a man in connection with the death of a 19-year-old woman in Ennis last week.

Lorraine O'Connor's body was discovered in a flat in the town on Tuesday evening.

The man was arrested at Shannon Airport last night and is being held at Ennis garda station.

Detectives investigating the case had been seeking the man for questioning for the past number of days.

He is being held under Section Four of the Criminal Justice Act.
