A Co Louth man wanted by Spanish authorities in connection with the death of his wife is due before the district court later today.

David McArdle, 32, from Haggardstown in Dundalk, may face extradition to Spain to answer questions about the alleged murder in Marabella two years ago.

His wife, Kelly Anne, died after falling from a fourth floor apartment.

Mr McArdle has denied any involvement in her death.
