Taoiseach calls for loyalist ceasefire

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has called on loyalist paramilitaries to resume their cease-fires following yesterday’s historic move on decommissioning by the IRA.

Mr Ahern told the Dail that the two governments must now quickly work on moving the peace process forward.
