Gardai treating Ennis death as suspicious

The assistant state pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, will begin a post mortem on the body of a 19-year-old woman found in Ennis, Co. Clare last night.

The assistant state pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, will begin a post mortem on the body of a 19-year-old woman found in Ennis, Co Clare last night.

The body was discovered in a house in the town before 9pm.

Gardai say they are treating the death as suspicious.

The scene has been preserved for examination by the garda technical bureau.
