Labour protests against Sellafield expansion

The Labour Party has held a demonstration outside the British Embassy in Dublin this afternoon to protest against the decision to allow a mixed-oxide fuel (MOX) plant to operate at Sellafield.

Labour will also hold a Dail debate tonight to condemn the British Government’s green light for the controversial plant and to criticise the Irish Government for failing to act against it.
