Gardai name Carlow road accident victim

Gardai have named one of the teenagers killed on Ireland’s roads last night as 17-year-old Kevin Strong, from John Sweeney Park in Carlow.

Mr Strong died when his motorcycle collided with a car at Ballincarrig, Rathcrogue at around 11.10pm.
