The formal identification of a woman’s body found in Donore, Co. Meath yesterday may take longer than originally anticipated.

The state pathologist is continuing his post mortem at Our Lady’s Hospital in Navan where dental records are being used to identify the badly decomposing body.

Gardai in Meath say it is highly unlikely there is any connection between the deaths of a married couple in Navan and the discovery of the woman’s body in east Meath.
