Ryanair fights loan to Sabena

Budget airline Ryanair is to challenge a Belgian Government loan to its ailing national carrier Sabena in the courts, chief executive Michael O’Leary said today.

The European Commission has approved a one-month £80m emergency bridging loan to save the Belgian airline from bankruptcy.
