Test results awaited over suspect package

Medical authorities were today awaiting the results of tests on a suspect package at the centre of an anthrax scare in west Belfast.

Two people, a woman and her two-year-old grandchild, in the Falls Road area, were hosed down by firemen in their back yard and treated yesterday with antibiotics as a precaution after they handled the parcel containing white powder.
