Special Criminal Court reserves Gilligan ruling

The Special Criminal Court has reserved ruling on a decision to make crime boss John Gilligan reveal the source of his wealth.

Counsel for Gilligan, currently serving 28 years for drug trafficking, argued that a request by the Criminal Assets Bureau for Gilligan to explain in writing how he accrued his vast wealth, could prejudice the proposal appeal against his conviction.
