EU Justice Ministers are attending an anti-terrorism summit which is expected to be followed by a wave of new legislation in the Dail.

EU Justice Ministers are attending an anti-terrorism summit which is expected to be followed by a wave of new legislation in the Dail.

Ireland already has some of the toughest anti-terrorism laws in the EU but new moves will include the introduction of a central extradition authority and a crackdown on funding of terrorism.

It could mean a busy pre-Christmas in the Dail with swift action needed to deal with this new legislation.
