A 23-year-old man was remanded in custody on explosives and terrorism charges when he appeared at Belfast Magistrates Court today.

David Darren Hinton, of Shankill Terrace, west Belfast, was charged with unlawfully and maliciously possessing a pipe bomb and timer power unit with intent to endanger life or damage property.
