Arafat to meet with Ahern

The Taoiseach is to hold talks with the Palestinian leader, Yasser Arafat, in Dublin today to discuss the developments in the Middle East.

The meeting is of particular importance for Mr Arafat because Ireland currently holds the presidency of the UN Security Council.
