Three women and 11 men will appear in court in Dublin this morning following disturbances at an anti-privatisation rally in Dublin on Wednesday evening.

The 14 were arrested after they gathered with nearly 100 demonstrators in the car park of the Burlington Hotel, where a three day international conference on public-private partnership was taking place.

Extra gardai were brought in to disperse the crowd. A number of people were injured and one man was hospitalised.
